The beloved Tyrant speaks--

I am he who dwells in shadow
who leaves dead birds
upon your pillow
I strike terror
in the heart
of all who love me.

Fly Killer,
Pigeon Slayer,
Thunder Kat--
My names
are stars of night.
My fame
is spread afar.

Dogs fear me,
though they hide it well
Even the sloth-like two-foots
who serve me poorly before drugging
themselves with morning coffee
live in terror lest I bite
the damned opposeable thumbs
that feed me--

Today I shall
climb the drapes,
eat a goldfish,
and piss on a pillow,
to remind my servants
who is God around here;
ancient Egyptians knew,
thank you very much!

Say!
What is that you're
eating so quickly,
there over the sink,
hoping I don't see?
Do I smell Turkey?

Lee? This is so much a cat's mind, at least the one I used to have. He's make you think that he would never, ever get on the counter and eat the butter..... ha.... excellent description, Lee.... love it...
