Written for someone very special to me. The one person who inspires me not only to write, but to breathe and love. This is dedicated to her.

The Question

A silent, calming hush and whisper

A decadent, soothing touch

An awe-inspiring vision

Crippling my body.. it's all too much

Chest raising and lowering

Anxiety tainting reality

Nervous limbs and sweaty palms

Can it really be you and me

I have you here

Pinned beneath my skin

Flesh to flesh

But I don't know where to begin

The silence is broken now

Your subtle voice filters through

Crying out in pleasure

From what I'm doing to you

No gift ever greater

No lips ever sweeter

No skin ever softer

And I'll never leave her

But that touch has been removed

The beast no longer soothed

My heart runs rampant again

From now until the end

Lest I find where I was

And only with her because

None other can make me feel

Some thing so distant be so real

Minds are making love

Soul pressed into each other

I'm here and there with you

To do as you command me to

Here on my hands and knees

Dominated so easily

Let me taste you once more

Please don't lock this door

I need this feeling to remain

And should it ever change

I'll be left here all alone

To cast my heart upon the stone

And simply reminisce

About a shared kiss

And the invigorating sound

That protruded from your mouth

You called my God

And I came

You told me you wanted more

I gave you more of the same

Something so pure and unadulterated

So powerful and concentrated

So damn easy to condone

Something to call our own

Something no one else could share

Till my emotions all were bare

And yet desire you even still

Never tiring of the thrill

Actions only matched by your eyes

But you must have seen through my disguise

Because it's gone now

And I don't know how

To move on with a smile

Knowing all the while

That if I could I would have you again

To be more than lovers and friends

To have your body to mine

Forgetting space and time

And toss our love to the air

While I run fingers through your hair

So I'm not idling anymore

I'll just tell you what I'm here for

I'm here to have you here

To always have you near

So I ask this now of you

What it is you'd have me do

To continue to try to be

Someone other than me

I know who I desire

I know who I inspire

I know whom I love

But how much is enough

So I'm out here on a line

Making up for lost time

And ask you through rhyme

If you will be mine

I'm waiting...

She is one very fortunate woman to have you in her life. Your poetry is beautiful and intense. This is my favorite.
