No One Knows

Slow erosion of the will

Empty, forgotten and lost

Every dream unfulfilled

A relationship at any cost

Constant loneliness

Eroding the soul

Yet no one knows

Save the lover that controls

A spirit dying from abuse

Manacles of guilt

A conditioned heart

Systematic deconstruction

Potential turned sterile

A body torn apart

Obeying each instruction

Avoidance of the peril

While appearances stay smart

Silent hopes missing their mark

Yet no one knows
