More mayhem from my "id", hope you understand it better than I!

“A MARKET FOR MAYHEM FROM THE “id” (ed)

Bound up in the inconsistency of lavish rubble

The tiny charm of abolished heady bonanzas

Released on occasion by supreme authority

Emblazoned on a shield of bronze shame

Superimposed by filing repertoire

An eagle’s nest of provoked attendances

Where often there are mass collapses

Likewise are there upgrading tenures

A state of unholy worship

The drachma of the next reserves a place for the penny of the east

For what?

Believe in love, faith or fall behind—the really true power

Evidence is recognized by those with foresight

Spoken words resume speed of the gaunt messenger

One of the acid assemblages belies an earthly root

Lost horizons appear and disappear

Fleeting glances show a quality not quite articulate

But worthy of recognition by all sensitive creatures

Lie below and assume a position of grateful candor

No, not so, with the host of adherents

Hinging dreams on sketchy mirages

While hunger rages for true ambition

Who prays for this?

Who answers?

Edges through a stillborn desire

To make peace with this conscience

And realize a boon to mankind

By throwing salt on a wounded soul…

To bring out innate longing to conquer a world of chagrin

Trust not a desire to bail out a world

Drowning in materialistic venture

Bound up in rash action, the bubble of garrulous living explodes

To form a film of defeat

Except for pure humility, the bulk lines for predatory gain

Hinged on serious haunted wishes

To hinge a swinging power

And close the gate on commonplace

All goes for naught, this ambitious domain

For imbedded in the soul burns an honest totem of grace

The seams of hard-shelled immunity are broken open

To reveal the true sense of life’s meaning

That atonement of virtuous action

Brings strength to its knees

And borrows from angels a heaven sent bolt

Cutting the throngs of evil and malice

A forecast of doom for all so endowed

Men of great stature—all dedicated to progress

Overlook the very reason the earth was created

Or worship Darwin as the true historian

So be it for them – human frailty cannot decide

Between the two factions – nor which side to cling to

The future will show what antagonism can foster

For those who choose conflict for altruistic gain

Purchase their farthings with counterfeit metal.
