Savor the seeds, sanguine
which burrow and grow against the grain.
Haughty and sublime with innocence
forging discoveries, changing ‘norm,’
and, with their vision, birthing ideas.
A welter of distention intrudes
in the melancholy of lush fields
to exacerbate the non-conformists.
Savor the seeds, sanguine
of conservatives and peace-makers
concurring, adapting, sharing space.
How else could our plumage have such grace?
The paradox of flowers and weeds
begins early when they are but seeds.
Grant us an impartial guardian
in the vast fields of diversity.
Savor the seeds, sanguine.
