My yellow manx cat communicates clearly her hopes, thanks, and opinions. Butter has more brains in her little paw than Kao has from tip to tail!

Wake up, wake up...this is the time
when you go in that little room
and splash water.
Hurry, hurry...
It's the weekend?
What's a weekend?

Make the coffee,
then walk me
to the food bowl
You say it's a 7-day feeder
but what if Kao gobbled it all
in the night?

Now I'm going
to nap for awhile,
maybe all morning.
I was up guarding the house
all night long
(remember, you tripped over me!)

Kept you all safe.
Oh!  A fluffy pile of clean towels.
Thanks.  I'll be sleeping here
If you need me.
Try to manage on your own
for a little while.

This is wonderful. Unless I lock my cat out, it's been years since I could do my hair and put on my makeup without two faces in the mirror! I have come to appreciate the motto, "Without a Cat, a home is just a house."
