This is a song that I wrote. Sometimes this is how I feel. Invisible. Hope you enjoy, and thank you all for sharing your beautiful gifts, and reading my work. I am glad I found this site, and I am thankful for all the positive support. God Bless.
I look into your eyes and I see,
She's got a smile like the Sunrise.
I look into her mouth and she speaks,
But I can't hear a word and I don't understand.
And I can feel her breath,
but it's lost with the wind.
Cause I'm just invisible.
So I run from the shadow that follows me.
All the eyes that stare, but they don't see.
I'm standing in a circle that I never could fit in.
Do the Angels stand?!
Am I in the Book of Life?
Would you hold me there, Will I have eternal Light?
Could you tell me please,
Just who I am,
Where I've Been,
Where I'm going?.
Cause I wanna know,
If I'm just invisible.

|These thoughts are like indigo on ivory, with themes that are highly visible. Enjoyed this read. . .

|Marvelous!! Doesn't every one of us feel invisible at times? I sure do. But I can see you, and I love what I see. Obviously, a lot of others feel the same. This is assuming the poem is autobiographical. But whether 'tis or 't'ain't, it speaks to mind, heart and soul. Thank you, Yvonne. 'Pea':)

|Powerful and well written, Yvonne. It reflects what most children of abuse feel: invisible, unheard, unloved, alone, ultimately unworthy. But, as you know, that's all a lie straight from the pits of hell. We have much in common; so do visit my den, read "Angels Cushion Life's Blows." Love in Christ~~ Bonnie Q|
