Preaching isn't the only way to spread the Word. |
|
Like a cartoon scrawled, drawn,
on a paper napkin ...
scribbled out, discarded,
I lay, crumbled, put in
a bin; dreaming of 'might-have-been'.
Would I have been colored
or stayed shades black and white?
Would my hair be funny?
In what manner would I speak;
would I clownishly squeak?
Someone imagined me--
who was my Creator?
Would I have served Him well?
My lines quite distinctive,
His cartoons creative?
He lifts me from garbage
and draws me a broad grin.
With laughter I will serve,
He'll speak through my 'balloons'
spread His Word with cartoons.
