The world as a crucible--an unrelenting forge.

I have no heart,
just a sting--
Every wasteland
needs a king--
Death is my gift
my constant bride,
There's no telling
just where we hide.

I steal life
where I find it,
unforgiving as
the desert sun.
A cruel world
makes me swift,
to kill before
my prey can run.

Don't speak to me
of mercy,
I am shaped by
a savage land.
Blood is life where
endless waves
are made of
burning sand.

Born an assassin,
below a lethal star,
in the shadow,
of a scimitar.
There's a danger zone
below the right stone
Some mysteries are always
best left alone.

Great write Lee! A perfect companion piece for Oscorpion, you should include somewhere in the narrative!
