                        Petrified, in a frozen forest

                        imprisoned, by limbs of life

                        unable to escape...

                        an impenetrable maze...

                        frantically, searching for an exit

sanity hangs by a perilous thread

                        everything shift changes

                        soaked in sweat

                        caused by the game

                        maniacal laughter

                        surrounds the frozen forest

                        insanity impales within

                        impetuous passion

This makes me think more of the flesh in which we all live: such a finite prison preventing all that our spirit being is in reality, and it sorely tries our sanity. Well written, Zenith. ~~Bonnie Q

this is a good evocation of horror, the cold, the fear, the visceral feel of this piece all combine to create a momentary experience that echoes...good job!
