Just thought of this one while walkin the old "furbag", such a good dog! Enjoy it, I did, writing it...

“Walkin’ Rufuz”

Time for your walk, Rufuz, old buddy,

Dad forgets sometimes, sorry,

Dad, at times, can be an old fuddy duddy.

Where should we go today?

Into the woods or just up the trail?

Oh, Rufuz you got something caught in your tail!

Nothing but a dead leaf, huh,

Must have gotten it when you were squatting.

Damn these bugs, leave me alone, or I’ll start

Yeah, I know, your always happiest when out &

wrestling with Daddy…

But Daddy has to go to work now, that you know,

Awww, look at those sad eyes, no you can’t go.

When I get home, it is for the weekend,

And we can walk till your little hearts content,

But for now, lets enjoy this walk,

No, no, no, don’t go into that tent!

I remember walkin' Woofie when we were visiting--it is always a joy to take a pet out, especially one as disciplined as Rufus. b
