Why do I consider my husband to be the very best?
Cause as a godly father, he’s surpassed most every test.
Though things have often falter, as he stumbles on his way
God’s great love & his mercy have helped him through each day.
When he’s tried by life’s fire and some great temptation, too
You’ll find him bowed on his knee asking God just what to do.
Though good friends may leave you & are often hard to find,
I thank God for the friendship, found in this man of mine.
With loving hands of guidance, he’s brought our family through,
The wisdom from God, our father, has made his love true blue.
The love that binds a family through the perils to the end,
Has shown him as a Husband, a Father and True Friend.
