Pets are a wondrous thing,
they keep us company and they bring,
joy, laughter, friendship and love.
They can be a cat, dog, fish or bird,
purring, barking, chirping or never heard,
they are our kindred spirits on earth
and up above.

i've had a few memorable cats myself in my life..."Cajun", "Ouizer" (pronounced "Wheezer"), and "Friday", to name three of my very favorites. I shall miss them always and always remember the joy they brought me. Wonderful write; enjoyed!~ (((HUGS))) and much love, your cat-lovin' Texas friend, Karen Lynn. :D

Hi Ron...this is really a nice piece.
I agree with those sentiments.
I have a pet buck fawn, two spoiled cats, a Betta fish,
four pet crows, several tame tree frogs, and a garden
snake who has been around for at least 3 years. He's grown
from about pencil size, to nearly four feet long! We
don't bother each other, and he watches me garden.
Of course...I watch out for my poor frogs when he's there!
My animals keep me smiling contentedly...more than people do.
