Beauty in the Tragedy of Life

When homeless persons find a home
and lonely souls are not alone
and churches pray for peace
to end the strife

When all the nations stop the wars
and we no longer have our fears
that someone just might kill us
with a knife

When missing children have been found
and poverty is not around
and when a soldier comes back home
to see his wife

When violent minds do not exist
and there is love within our midst
then there is
beauty in the tragedy of life
