A journey
begins so very long ago
where four winds blow
fading moonlight calls
We choose one to follow

Every journey
holds a truth
A warm afternoon glow
hides the chilling flow
Every fate is chosen

A journey
of the indecisive mind
fading ever slow
only the fates know
where the crossroads lie

Each journey
holds inexplicable wisdom
where the breeze blows
where the water flows
The sky reflects life

A journey
ended so very long ago
memories of ancient lives
souls ponder why
destiny calls

Very beautiful moving write Dale!!

I Asked myself the other day... when will this journey called "life" end!!

As I still wondered where destiny will still take me!!

This write left me with "Nostalgia" in my heart!!

Dale, this is very well done. Your imagery is outstanding. Many of those roads are traveled and many are empty. Our choice will decide our fate.

Dale, in life, when one journey ends, there is always another to begin. When we follow the winds that blow us to the crossroads, it's there where we get to choose which way we must go. You have opened up many thoughts for your readers. Lisa
