This poem is in response to Justin Souza's challenge posted last week I believe. We had many challenges posted lately. It has taken me a while.

I curl up under the old oak tree,
FULL of moss hanging off branches.

The Moss reminds me of the
DARKNESS of thee, with
arms enveloping around
like branches.

There is no light to see you,
EXCEPT for those rays from
that omnimous cloud.

It reminds me of your beacon,
shining so brightly in through
the trees this winter when
The other part of the world
has gone to bed.

Did you know moss grows on the north side, did you want to know?
Lovely feel to this poem, I was awaiting fairies and elves to come out, painted with great word pictures,
