Somethings you can never forget,

Like the first steps a baby takes,

Or the first time you learn to say goodbye,

And discover what it means to really cry.

Somethings you can never forget,

The first day of school,

When you watch your child slowly growing wingss,

And flying away from you.

Somethings you can never forget,

Like the dreams you dream,

And the memories you make,

Or the first time you truly discover,

What it means for your heart to break.

how true, michelle. there are things i will never forget, like how president kennedy was shot, the day eisenhower died and the funeral for him on television, september 11, 2001, the shuttle disasters, the day the u.s. hockey team defeated the russians in 1980, or things like how badly i was treated by both my family and the kids at school. i also remember the good times..our annual trips to cedar point, going to our relatives in cleveland, going to the grand ole opry and opryland, going to louisiana, and visiting karla in texas when i lived in ohio. so i have plenty of memories, good AND bad, and i shall never forget them as long as i live! good write, michelle; enjoyed!~ (((HUGS))) and much love, your texas friend, karen lynn. :D love you, michelle!
