Under self help as I am feeling rather self-pitying of late, just the need for a written boost from my AD friends, or not as you see fit...ED

             BORING OR NOT?

The question I am asking of the self today,

Is my poetry boring or not, in anyway?

Sorry, but have felt self-pity of late,

Maybe I should hide behind a gate,

         Or maybe I should wait,

         For a negative review,

         Will it be from you?

         If so, then please understand,

I do what I can with what I have at hand,

I never had any formal training,

For poetry I find to be of the self,

What more can be said of this poet so clueless,

Maybe he should just acquire the  guidance of an

                         Elf?

Boring? No. Self pity? Maybe but we all go through days like that as writers. It is normal to have doubts about our writing skills. I have enjoyed my reads in your port. You share of your self and that is what counts in writing.
