Oh what misery hast these tired eyes seen,

Years upon years have come and gone,

And through the ages has this creature called me, roamed.

I have witnessed much greatness among ordinary men,

As well as their ways of evil and their commitment to sin.

Yet, still it is the game at hand that enthralls me still.

For Great kings have I seen, as well as those like me.

Who are destined to walk this earth eternally as if in a dream.

You ask of me my beginning; I ask is there an end?

In my walk of time, I have viewed a void so black

And in that very same moment with the clap of hands

Along the sound of the spoken word

I have witnessed the birth of this thing called light,

I watched as it danced upon the black velvet of night

Therefore, it must be so, though I never knew

For I have always been, and for me there is no end.

However, I cleave to a secret that I soon will tell

I will give thee a hint, so listen well.

I have fought a war against those like me

It was this war, which I and others like me fell.

All in my quest for glory, a glory I knew well,

Nevertheless, a kingdom it did give……

You mortals here on earth know it, and know of it well.

For it has long been known as Hades, and to some just plain Hell.

So now you see the small secret I have kept from thee.

I rule this earth and the powers of the air, and legions follow me.

You know me by many names and you can call me what you like

However, the suit that I like best is “The Angel of Light”.

If you say yes to me, I can promise you too shall live for eternity.

You will be like me; a ruler of many, you too shall be a king.

So, listen to me, and do not fear, for we are victorious here.

Say yes to me and together forever we will dwell.

We shall rule and no one will be able to withstand our spell.

Soon you will see, it will be just you and me.

We will be in total control, so what do you say?

Was that a yes? Ah this is great, just step this way”

“Ah, my little soul, I am so glad to see you today, and a promise is a promise.

So hence, forth you will live forever, and here is your home for eternity.

Hot you say?

And the smell of burning flesh causes your head to spin and your body to sway?

What is that you say? You are thirsty.

And what else was that? You do not want to stay?

Sorry, for it’s too late, for when you said yes to me,

This became your place to stay.

What was that about my promise to you?

On how grand it would be to live like a King?

Oh well, that is another secret you see, that I have kept very well,

However, for you and no one else…I will tell.

You see, poor soul, I do lie very well.

I deceived thee into thinking that life with me was grand

That I was a king and that I had rule…. ha-ha-ha-ha-ha

Now weren’t you the fool.

I am no king but just a lying beast in Hell.

The one true king has defeated me.

You knew him once, and you knew him well.

However, I deceived you into believing that I that was king.

I fooled you into believing there was pleasure in sin

And that there would not…hehehe…be Hell to pay.

You should have stayed with Gods plan and not have strayed.

For what they said about heaven is true …

But now you old fool,

you will suffer me for eternity…..hahahaa”.
