The Children's Rights

I found this written in my aging journal in the garage in my trunk. It amazes me of what I wrote back then. Remember, I was Fifteen back then and it was during the Reagan-Bush(the first one) Administration! Then, Bush-Quayle Administration!

Please don't let it happen,
We are all so young.
Let us be joyful and fill our heart
so we can forget about war!
If we work together, we can make it happen,
Oh, Yes!
For then the fear is gone and
all our love can be for the world to share!

Oh, let the fear of war be gone and
let PEACE fill our hearts for we are the ones
to make it stop!

Now, our spirits soar,
Our children are care-free,

For Peace is finally here.

WOW! I have several of these little ditties myself from when I was a young little know it all preteen/teen. I look back at some of them and then I look at my 12 year old and just think---wow. Kids shouldn't know these things. I agree with Andre and Floria 110%!!!YOU are very talented. I respect and appreciate that.

Thank You,
Emilie

THIS IS AN INSPIRING AND THOUGHTS' STRIKING POETICAL WRITING.
It was effective then, and is a sounding voice now.

I listen to You message now, Poet!

I hope that your Voice be heard throughtout the Offices of the ENGINEERS OF WAR, THOSE FIVE TERRORISTS - PERMANENT MEMBERS OF THE UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL - and by all persons that seek Justice.

Thank You for sharing this "The Children's Rights".
