Products of time make me smile often

Little white upon the ground
singing noise all around
it Christmas in my hometown
Where did the days go too

Slivers of yesterday
in a envelope to pay
for dreams I let slip away
Where did the days go too

Chrildren gathered by the fire
all in sleep atire
waiting for the last ember to die
Where the days go too

Silence fills the air
the voice of reason and care
I now live there
Where did the days go too

I tuck her into bed
she softly touches my head
her mind and body have been fed
Where did the days go too

I am not too old to hug
I am not too old to love
I can wait for angels from above
The days are all safe inside my heart
