I set soft music gently drifting through the air.
Sky-blue satin sheets sensuously drape our bed.
Scented candles send a delicious aroma wafting along the stair,
while erotic thoughts and romantic visions run through my head.

Silk and lace trimmed is the choice of my gown.
I perfume my wrists and other zones and I smile
as I let my hair free from its upswept style and leave it hanging down.
My sweet and tender lover will be here in just a little while.

He smiled at the altered view of our room.
I saw the passionate look in his eyes.
He undressed us both in the soft gloom
and after an erotic hour or two, he sighs.

“What did I do to deserve you?” he said
I smile and whisper words of love and passion.
He again moves over me on our bed.
Buried deep inside of me, as is his fashion.

We meet up in the stars.
We drift through time and space.
Love heals all of daily scars.
A smile is, once again, on my face.

A very beautiful poem... I especially like the line, "Love heals all of daily scars."
