Angelfish "scalare" being the first species of Pterophyllum to be described. It was also the name that the fish was known by in the trade for many years

extra marks for the pun in the first couplet

Sagittaria is a genus of common aquarium and house plants.

They are my favorite fish, so elegant, they glide through the water like the angels they are named for. Beautiful poem.

Surprisely Angel fish are one of the fish that are known for picking on the others. Makes you wonder why they were not called, demon fish.
