Beneath the ground below
A Christmas tree is born
From seedlings of its kind
It grows to be adorned

With Santa in our minds
We become like him
For homeless and the poor
Our joy extends within

We manifest a light
To others who have none
Their souls can now rejoice
Our love will keep them warm

Our pennies are like trees
Like seeds they’re small in worth
With presents from our hearts
True happiness comes forth

Forget not why we’re here
Abundance though we have
Bestowed with true amour
The meager are not sad
