Iraqi police officers monthly pay,
less than some of us make in a day.
This should be of no big concern,
considering what most of us earn.
There was talks about desertions,
can't much blame these exertions.
Hardly enough to risk your life,
must less suffering the strife.

Saddam the big rat,
found in a hole 750 thousand fat.
No where to run,
no where to hide,
with a pistol on his side.
The coward couldn't off himself,
doctors found him still in good health.
His sons shot it out,
died for what they were about.
The coward father,
did not bother.

Just an interesting story,
hardly one of glory,
more piteful than sorry.
One that ended an evil regime,
cancelled out a mean dictators crime.

From the hole,

The rat stated,
"I'm the Iraqi president."

The U.S. soldiers said,

"President Bush sends
his regards."

One of them ended but so many more like him tackle and find and take out. Will it never end, will peace never come. It seems like it to me. This war is so costly to us and what for, Not to help us at all but to keep things stirred up over there and making them more fierce.

I love your writing style. The way you phrase your work, the simplicity of your complex subject matter, the words you use. You are very talented. If only I could see you perform. Are you a spoken word artist?

i hope justice is served...let the judges in the tribunal be kurds...or iranians...or the loved ones of servicemen killed in service to our nation...just a thought :)

i had a policeman tell me once i was cruel, because i said that a child molester should be infected with ebola or aids, and given no medication to alleviate his suffering--let the creep die

what do you think??

enjoyed this write, my friend

(((HUGS))) and love,

karla. :)

I'm glad they finally caught up with him, my friend.
No matter what they do to him it won't bring back all
the lives taken and affected by his evil deed. I hope
justice is served in this one, my friend.

Cheers n love..*Linda*
