Wolves under moonlight.

Wolves in the shadowy night.

Yell.

Yellow towering flames of shame.

Smash.

A mystery in the sight.

Breathing loudly, fiercely.

Two blue wolves into the darkness.

Madness in the middle of the attack.

A painful attack. A panic attack.

A plain is visible, two of them are invisible.

The madness is desire of fire.

Smack.

A mad man is there,  a plan.

A plain.

A narrow hollow in the earth.

Instead of a heart.

Crack.

a poem like this is exceedingly difficult to interpret. on the one hand, it seems to be an exercise in semantics and sound, of word similiarity and aural resonance, while on the other hand, the underlying message is one of dissonance, cognitive and otherwise, perhaps discernment of the line between the psychic/psychological and the natural/physical. whatever the case may be, the imagery is strking and echoes in the mind.

This is striking! "Crack" is a socio-philosophical poem delivering the message to the audience of our society.

An outstanding poem.

Thank You.

The violence here has me intrigued. And why the "flames of shame, the desire of fire." Must we be trained to feel the passion? Thanks for the mystery, Maria.
