Blizzard...Ed & Rufuz style,
by Ed Matlack

Just a fun look at living from a different point of view...

BLIZZARD…Ed & Rufuz style,

The snow came down so wet,

I thought it was going to cover the camper,

But unfortunately, the blizzard we didn’t get.

So we live in a motor home,

In a campground,

Year around,

We do our traveling in summer,

In the months of winter,

We mostly just shiver.

No, this beast was not built to withstand winters blows,

Her cold just seeps through the walls,

Even with the heater & it’s constant glow,

The cold, at times seems to get to my feet,

Got to wear two types of slippers at once,

But that is the “fun” of living in a camper…

But to be sure,

We live for the summer and traveling,

We tow the Jeep, called our “toad”,

We have not gotten more than one state,

Beyond that of the great Mississippi,

But what we have seen has really been great.

The people of this country are really quite nice,

I hope we find Canada and Mexico to be as pleasant,

We have dined all over the eastern half of the states,

The meal I remember most was the pheasant,

At a persons home we met online,

They thought it was good eating,

I thought it tasted like chicken,

But what the hell, it was free...    (ed)
