Rufuz always gets the good stuff...

Christmas Dinner for Rufuz…


 


While Dad has his frozen TV dinner,


For his Christmas meal this year,


Rufuz gets all the stuff,


From my neighbors, oh so dear.


 


They bring him turkey, chicken & ham,


And even offer stuffing & veggies,


He only eats that, which he wants,


Saying “thank you ma’am,”


To those that bring it over.


 


Then when he has his fill,


He gives to dad what he thinks,


Might make him ill…


 


Dad says thanks for his meager offerings,


Who knows, maybe I will get a juicy wing,


But Dad loves to see his puppy eat,


As I don’t mind the sweet treats,


But better he than I when it comes to eating the beets…
