Someone I know, once said this of me,
that I walk on the edge of the abyss and,
precariously balance my stand in the face
One slip, one trip, one tiny miscalculation,
And I in the darkness of night would fall into a
However, it is this I must say, it is not the darkness I fear
Nor what would come of me, for I shall and will persevere.
For I shall always the darkness face, and neither shall I stumble
For I know of Him, and He of me, and by His grace
I shall never in all of time, the darkness alone…face.
He has promised me, and He will in His power keep me.
So on this wall, overlooking the abyss of eternal time.
I shall stand tall, for I am His and He is mine.
