I want the pleasure of your company ...
one more time ... God willing ...
behold your smile, beaming.
I fall to pieces, tears streaming;
you are mine, no dreaming ...
if only one more time.
No matter how oft' we've disagreed,
it's you whom I love, whom I need.
There's something about you quite unique
that every argument, I concede.
I'll follow wherever you go, lead.
I want the pleasure of your company ...
one more time ... God willing ...
behold your smile, beaming.
I fall to pieces, tears streaming;
you are mine, no dreaming ...
if only one more time.
Sometimes we look at each other, sigh
as we don't always see eye-to-eye;
there's something about you quite unique.
If you were to leave me, ever die,
I really don't know how I'd get by.
I want the pleasure of your company ...
one more time ... God willing ...
behold your smile, beaming.
I fall to pieces, tears streaming;
you are mine, no dreaming ...
if only one more time.
People say they don't understand us
but, finally, I've found love and trust.
We seldom say those specials words--three
but, somehow, I think we will agree
there's undying love in each heartbeat.
I want the pleasure of your company ...
one more time ... God willing ...
behold your smile, beaming.
I fall to pieces, tears streaming;
you are mine, no dreaming ...
if only one more time.
We make concessions; everyone must.
No one's always right or always just.
I'm beholden to you, you to me ...
just as all marriages are meant to be ...
eternal for infinity.
I want the pleasure of your company ...
one more time ... God willing ...
behold your smile, beaming.
I fall to pieces, tears streaming;
you are mine, no dreaming ...
if only one more time--
if
... only
..... one
....... more
.........time.

You tear my heart in two. You know that already though.
Some of the best poetry is heart poetry. Fine job expressing your soul here...I just hurt for you.
Thank You for blessing the denfolk with your work!
