What if?? each created in the same mould. Forget cloning. Ok things may improve through 2004. We Hope. Enjoy!!

An Abstract on Sameness

“Tis said it takes all sorts to make a world,
In words of wisdom, this is a pearl,
Just imagine if you will, , what if we were all cut from the same piece of twill,
Seeing nothing but the same pattern on every corner of the street,

Each one a mirror image of self, that’s everyone you meet,
Introductions would be brief, probably having said it all before,
No need for idle chatter of no consequence, it wouldn’t matter,
Each mind each thought in perfect tune, for difference thought there is no room

,Every act done in synchro, no jarring variance, to spoil the ambience,
I feel that soon we would all need an ambulance,
Being transported to an end similar in all respects to those since time commenced.
What a terrible conclusion. Now I can only say,” Viva La Difference!!!”

Ah but if we were all the same,
Or, as is said, on the same plain,
Would we have such a hard life?
Or would our strife,
Be something none-existant?
Or is it our differences that make us who we are,'
Who is to say, either you or I,
Maybe we should just all go out to a bar?
And drink till we see each other as the same...Peace, Ed & Rufuz(woof)
(dont look at me, the poem was not my idea, Rufuz did it! LOL)

Whoa, I am so glad we are all cut from a different mold...this would be such a horrible fate...excellent write on the intrigue of sameness.

I agree with your thoughts here, It is the unexpected, that which is different, that makes this world so much fun!
