“Their Plight is to Fight…”
(for religious freedom)
I awoke from a dream this morning,
To tears of mourning,
To tears of warning,
And tears for the newborns
Born into a life of struggle,
Seems for religious freedom,
There is a constant brawl,
Why must one religion?
Take the brunt of others fears…
Why must a small country?
With a limited sprawl,
Be forced to fight,
Having their children grow up in fear,
Knowing that a bomb might go off,
If they drop their guard,
And allow themselves the chance to be kids,
Cannot the world in general just allow?
All religions the right to swell,
Or not, as so it deems necessary,
To its own existence…
