Density between ears is either stupidity or earwax, in my case it must be both...ed

I have said it before and will do so again,

I am quite dense at times,

Especially between the ears,

Having been this way many a year.

Yes, it is dense I am,

Sometimes as thick as a ham,

Frozen in time & I tell you this is no sham,

So when sending me reviews,

Or comments as do you,

Please remember to recall,

That the density between my ears,

Only gets worse while sitting on my rear,

As that seems to be where all the beer,

From the past seems to collect, oh dear.

So if you must try to be tricky,

Please remember, again and recall,

That most things said tend to be sticky,

Like those buns some eat for Sunday morning snacks,

And I may, as I do not remember what was said,

Just call you back,

As I seem to lack,

The smarts to recall and remember where you lead.

Is that lead in the sense of taking me somewhere?

Or is it the lead found in bullets that harm?

Let us hope the bullet is only in an arm,

As little can be permanently destroyed in that anatomical part.

Don’t ask where this is leading, (as in taking us or me somewhere?)

For with my density as thick as the rainforest it may take some time,

For me to realize where I was going with this rhyme…
