Suffice to say do not awaken me anytime, it is not good for anyones health...

AWAKENED BY A, NOW DEAD, NEIGHBOR!

I sleep late everyday,

So to be awakened earlier is no big thing,

But on Sunday I find I enjoy sleeping in,

To sleep in I find is no sin,

But some say, you are missing out,

On the best part of the day,

But I feel that the best part,

Is later, so I say, do not disturb,

This sleeping author/poet,

Or you will definitely find out and know it,

I am a freakin’ mother when awakened early,

I am to be found rather surly,

Also I have been known to be rather burly.

So keep your distance from my door,

Or I may most certainly and for sure,

Tear out your heart through your personal back door,

That may not make you happy,

But as for me,

I can foresee,

A much happier person I would be,

To be able to sleep in without your,

Constant Sunday disruptions,

Of a sleep cycle I have a hard enough time,

To keep in sync as it is,

So this is the end of this little rhyme,

As the clock does chime,

That it is almost noontime…

I remember too well what a grump you can be
When I knocked on your door too early.
That's when I discovered that your legend
Was nothing more than a shoestring in the wind.

A funny recollection. Scott

Don't Ask and I Won't Have to Lie by Beverly Mahone

We know LYING is wrong BUT—lying happens sometimes when it comes to what we will or will not reveal to other people—-or our own denial about who we really are…… ..
