welcomed by the paperwhite
its delicate fragrance gently drifts
across the fronds of society garlic

untrampled by the seasons rain
upholding through the winters chill
uplifted, although the wind is strong

the paperwhite, blooms on
endearing, it gives without condition
rejoicing, it lives in celebration

dancing my thoughts upon its sway
welcomed by the paperwhite
into its subtle governance
