Won't Figure It Out If You Try

This one's for you, Jessica.

Why are yawns contagious
Have you ever wondered why
Some things are so outrageous
You won't figure them out if you try

How can God see us all
Who says we have to cry
Just how high is tall
You won't figure it out if you try

Why do sneezes feel so great
How can real love die
When do people learn to hate
Would you believe a lie

Where do hiccups start
Are highways always high
How much love fills a heart
You won't figure it out if you try

Who was the first to know
What's good about good-bye
Do people really eat crow
And why can't humans fly

You won't figure it out if you try

This is a poetic-philosophical flower scented with the aroma of
- eternity and now - pleasing the senses of knowledge.

"Won't Figure It Out If You Try" is wirtten with golden letters
on a platinum frame.

oooo, Sandy, this is my kind of poem... ask anybody! (grin)

I think you used the repetitious line with great effect. There are layers in this, a playful delivery with a one-two punch here and there. ("When do people learn to hate") Your message hits home without any bullying. Sometimes that's how we get people to hear us. Good stuff!

People often eat their words and their hearts out too. I've given up trying to figure out why. Good one. Thanks for trying to figure it out.

What's good about good-bye? LOL English is one crazy mixed up language.... I suppose one should wonder about those who get round it so easily!
Thanks
