Was it really,

Only a year ago,

We danced around the room,

In celebration of the book I wrote,

And the fact I was going to get published.

We were a sight,

You at eighty eight,

Me with no rhythm,

Still we danced,

And jumped in glee.

You were young again,

If only for a minute,

As we celebrated as a family,

Grandmother and Granddaughter,

What a beautiful memory,

Something to treasure dearly...

Precious tribute to your grandmother, Michelle. What a wonderful memory to have. I mourn your loss, yet rejoice in her freedom and much deserved rest. As Isaiah 57:1-2 tells us, she has been spared the terrors of these last days. ~~Bonnie Q
