Wake Up

I wake up and
I'm freightened by what I feel
so deep,
I can't help my self
going over the edge for a
one time feeling with no guarantee's

I'm afraid, but I'm going cause
it might be what I've longed for
too long

Going over the edge, I haven't a thing to loose,
losing my heighten fear of the unknown
leaving behind all the do's and don'ts
cause I don't know what to do
besides going one step further with no guarantee's

I wake up because seeing is believing, and
I wake up holding your name in my heart
fresh, and sweet, sweeter than sweet,
I can see you laying next to me

I wake up because your warmth, and
your beauty is tangible for it's worth left behind

I sleep and I waken, but I know
this time your heart belongs with mine

Isn't it amazing how we can swing from vulnerability to uncertainty, to certainty and back to vulnerability in mere moments...
Thanks Rosalyn!
