Child of creation, borne upon
clouds in the air;
hands folded in prayer...
Please Lord, peace for my fellow man?
The pathway is alight that we must
follow; threads of silver
hope pouring from the waterfall
in the midst of your city of Life.
Child of creation, He has poured into you
the power of hope, a true hope, that the rose of Faith
will open wide within the gentle care of
the heart placed within each and every one of us,
Trust...that’s all that’s needed to mend
the rift, growing wider each moment,
in the sail of this ship in which we ride; heading
surely toward celeritous and assured destruction.
Child of creation, only you, through the free will of spirit,
united, are able to change the approach of earthly calamity.
New focus; new sight...bringing the light of day into the deepest,
darkest moments of the shadow’s cover of night.
Chasing away the nightmares of desperation...
and bringing to sight the dreams of a new world,
and a new life, based upon the kindness and compassion
of the heart of spirit and the bounty that lives
within the soul of collective humanity.
