It is a hard world
Even for a hard man.
Efficiency
Does not escape the need for a safe place.
A place
For him to rest his head
And unwind.
A place
Filled with beautiful things
To look at
And to touch.
A place
With soft pillows to rest on
And air that is sweetened by her scent.
A place
Where the lights are dimly lit
And the music plays out a lilting tune.
A place
Where soft gentle kisses warm his heart,
Soothe his soul,
And ease his mind.
A place
Where the living love to wait.
