An old friend explained to me how he was able to overcome an addiction to alcohol.

When my eyes are tired
I slip into your mind
I wander the pathways
of pleasant dreams
I hide in the shadows
of what use to be

In your mind all is quite
no fears and pain do I see
it is a place of solitude
a safe heaven for me

You love me with out thinking
you did not care what I was
no thought to the drinking
you thought I was an angel above

When nights drain my body
the world comes down on me
you give me a place to go, dear
In your mind I am free

God granted me an angel
a child to comfort my sin
a place to fight my addiction
a safe world to live in

Barn yards are usually safe to walk through, but you better keep a close eye on two sets of eyes glaring in the shadows... This is base on a real live event that happened to me...
