out the window
of my Life
i see Life
pass me by
i sit
i wait
to die
and i ask why

in the shadow
that once was
my Life

i see a street
i meet those who pass
me by

houses so neat
who Are those people
livin' there
did they come from
where do they go
guess i don't know

cars pass by
down the street
they pass me bye
who are those people
where did they go
who'll ever know

i see
the tree
or the tree's
that be
on a branch so bare
once they were there

i see
the minutes
become hours
and days
and months
and years
past aways

i hear the sound
of life goin' 'round
i hear the silence
of the Life
i've found

the sun come up
the sun
goes down
day's just go
'round & 'round

pages on paper
day's on time
they lose their rhyme

children are born
children grow old
each has their story
'least that' what i'm told

mine is a window
a Life grown old
mine is the story
that's been told

it passed me by
while i stood still
it made me wonder
what if i will

(hey GOd
you got a pill?)

my Life's been a window
seein' & bein'
a no show
a aLife
so sad
i see
the Life that i have
is that me?

a very ponderous soul
i see you spend a lot of time pondering the same things i do
