“Let us not be discouraged
By the adversities of life
Let us demolish its pride
By facing the life with joy”

Bhuwan Thapaliya

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have
no solitude
I am surrounded
and imprisoned
by the shadow
of my own destitute

The struggle between
the desire of my heart
and the reality
of my subsistence
diminishes the radiance
Of my countenance

And, the triangular
conflict between
my objective heart
my subjective mind
and my absolute soul
makes me a living cadaver

Yet, I’m not in a hurry to die
and explore the life beyond
the boundaries of demise
I crave to live more and explore
the life within the borders of life
for I have a horizontal dream
more vertical than the Everest’s peak

Excellent, Bhuwan: no surprise there! As Jude said, this life is a journey to either surviving death or entering it totally. It is our choice. For myself, I feel much as Apostle Paul: I long to be with the Lord yet must remain here until my mission is complete. Much love to your heart from mine. ~~Bonnie Q

An excellent piece, Bhuwan!
One of my favorite 'motivators' is a line
from the movie "The Hours," where the character
Laura Brown says: "I chose life."
You have much talent, my poet peer. Keep the
positive aspects glowing!

And you keep climbing that dream, dear poet. You just keep on climbing. Read your work on Poetry and Emotions -- I was so proud to say I read you every day. I was so filled we pride, and cried, at the beauty of your words.
