Thanks to Scott and his better half b.,
and to you all at AD, you have all created a monster of biblical proportions...

A MONSTER…  (ending in a warm, even though it is cold, thanks to all at the Den for support)

But to be honest, I really do believe that a monster he has created,

I can’t stop writing sometimes, just to rant or vent,

Or to make you, my reader’s laugh, this is what I meant,

When first I started to write this trash, so called poetry,

Most of it is so bent, utterly weird and crazed,

That I hate to post it for fear someone will send to my door,

One of those men in the little white coats with the net…

So while I love Scott & his much better half b. for forcing me to write,

And get out of my seashell of a life and stop pitying myself, they did only right,

I have to say that I am sure the authors den world at large,

May have many a negative comment to put forth,

Regards starting me on my road to poetry success, as it is certainly not financial,

But in reality, I don’t write to receive any accolades,

As I have not done so, other than from the wonderful and professional poets,

Herein found on Authors den, such praise at times makes my head swell,

(No, not the one in my pants, as that is dead from the cold or maybe from being old!)

Seems I had a rhyme for accolades, oh damn I hate this memory problem,

Now what the hell was I saying?

Oh well, suffice it say that the monster within,

Has come to the surface of this writer without any kin,

And I find that all of you here on AD,

Have made me feel so much like family…

I thank you all and Scott and b. and I even thank the fact that the cold came,

For without it, I might have ran out of ideas for poems…

Yeah, yeah, don’t you all wish I had that happen, LOL!!!
