I hope this cracks you up :)!

You are eggsactly
who I’ve been waiting for—
no yolk about it.
You’ve a shell I adore
with an ivory door.

Often when scrambled,
you turn over easy.
Most folks like you
but you make some queasy—
fragile, you’re so squishy.

Your life may be hard,
you’re one of a dozen.
Sometimes you’re dipped, colored;
sometimes frigid, frozen,
without innards oozing.

There’s no substitute
for an egg with a’peel.
Don’t mind if you’re yellow,
I know your yolks are real.
Do you know how I feel?

You are eggsactly
who I am waiting for ...
