In the shadows there doth
creep something eerie lurking
from somewhere deep ...

... within a darkened soul.

Gaping maw with formidable
fangs that drip red, glinting
in the silvery moonlight. Fear
not, for this beast only sleeps
within thy bed ...

... in nightmares waking moments.

Fitful sleep leaves one thirsty for
sweetest dreams of knights
come calling to fend of the
fiends of the mind. Yet there is
not one who can diminish the
serpentine king that lurks here
within thy dreams ...

... touching parts of the mind seductively.
