In response to Floria Kelderhouse's
poem, "Deliberate Cruelty."

"Where is God?" you ask.
He hasn't gone anywhere,
He's right where He's always been...
In control of the vast Universe,
But not of Man's free will.

"Where is God?" you ask.
He hasn't left the building,
He's right where He's always been...
He hasn't abandoned the little children,
We've just forgotten to ask for His direction.

"Where is God?" you ask.
He's right there, in front of you,
He's right where He's always been...
Never failing, even when we've failed Him,
His love is everlasting, while ours is conditional.

"Where is God?" you ask.
He's seated on His Heavenly Throne,
He's right where He's always been...
Don't be afraid to approach Him,
He desires an audience with you.

"Where is God?" you ask.
He's not on His lunch break, or playing golf,
He's right where He's always been...
Why does He allow bad things to happen?
I don't have the answer--yet, I will believe in Him.

"Where is God?" you ask.
He always has a time slot open for you,
He's right where He's always been...
Call on Him--you don't need an appointment,
He's as close as a whispered prayer.

"Where is God?" you ask.
Look for Him--he hasn't left,
He's right where He's always been...
Maybe we've forgotten how to seek Him,
It doesn't matter--He hasn't forgotten us.

God, the way I see, is the creator and controller of the universe and all that is contained within it. There are two roads: one is good the other is evil and Mas is free to choose which pathway he wants to embark on. He should always bear in mind that he is accountable to god in the life hereafter. God is with us always and loves us all. This is excellent poem and we needed this issue to be brought in the limelight though Floria requested not to be grabbed into debates. Thank you dear friend and sister.

I must praise the Lord, for regardless of the abuses I suffered as a child, I always knew He was there and that there were things He wanted me to understand. And, praise the Lord, even as a child I knew it was not me and that my mother and stepfather didn't know to do any better than they did. God is so awesome in His wisdom and we can understand why things like this occur: if only we seek His truths, for His reveals all the reasons and logical they are. Exceptionally well penned, Karla: God's blessings are to be expected upon you. ~~Bonnie Q

Hi Karla, I didnt mean to anger you or upset you. You know I beleive. Perhaps you didnt read the two poems this past week of abuse of children. How I cried. and when I wrote my poem, well, It just came out like that. My first impression and I was thinking, this must be what the children felt. Where is God? and I did write a disclaimer on my poem. So I hope you are not upset. I know how strong your faith is. And so is mine. I hope you took the time to read the small note at the bottom of my poem. This sounds angry to me.. Love ya anyway. Blessings...floria
