TEN SCORE AND MORE
For every tear shed in shame,
Ye shed ten more for same.
For each point made in score
Ye rejoice ten times and more.
For each good deed in accord,
Ye reward ten score, my Lord!
For suffering and pain endured,
Thy love and mercy for thine own secured.
For moments weary and weak,
Ye love thine own though lust they seek.
For each sin thine own seek to afford,
Ye forgive ten score, my Lord!
Yea, though thine own falter and stray,
Ye ask only that we pray.
For in prayer ten score and more ye forgive
that thine own in grace may live.
Yea, in thee, my Lord, I will always find
contentment and peace of mind.
