The Aftermath of Yesterday

someone lost some family
someone lost some love
someone lost some innocence
someone lost some blood

we all try to smile
and we all try to laugh
but when they aren't looking
i force these pink pills back
to help me march on through
the disasters that we've found
she smiles through her tears
i pass out on the ground
and we help each other up
to make it through another hour
the confusion settles in
the mood has become sour
why'd he have to kiss me
why'd they have to die
nothing at all makes sense today
but i'm not wond'ring why
i know all the answers
i know the reasons too
although i cant explain it
it'll come together soon
but until that time's revealed
we must remain intact
keep our heads on straight
listen to the facts
nothing happens randomly
and that's exactly why i'm here
there'll be nothing left to wonder
there'll be nothing left to fear.

"The Aftermath of Yesterday" depicts the story and flows on the cadence of the music called the mystery of life.

I have read an outstanding poetical composition.

Never rest Your pen; don't let Your quills dry.

Happy Healthy Long Life.
