THIS IS FICTION.
If it ever gets this cold here in
Texas, I'm moving even farther south!
:-)
Although born in Ohio, my blood's
thinned out. Can't handle the cold
like I once could. WIMP!! That's me,
all over. :-)

a conversation:
"the weatherman said it's supposed to hit 'round ten below." "do i look worried--that's just a bit chilly! i've been to alaska--where it gets much colder, you know. the way you're acting 'bout this cold is silly!"
"the weatherman said it's going to hit twenty below." "do i look worried--i'm inside, where it's warm! i say, who cares if the frigid arctic winds blow and blow! i don't have to get out in it--let it storm!"
"the weatherman said it's going to hit thirty below." "do i look worried--i have a fireplace! it's wintertime out there--it's supposed to get cold and snow! also helps i've got jim beam--nearly a case!"
"the weatherman said it's going to hit forty below." "do i look worried--i've got plenty of food! who cares about the cold--why, i was born in ohio! if anyone can handle these temps, i'm it, dude!"
"the weatherman said it's going to hit fifty below." "do i look worried--yes, i do...a little. i've never experience temps THIS much below zero. if the power dies, i'll be froze stiff, brittle!"
"the weatherman said it's going to hit sixty below. "i said, it's going to hit sixty below. "hello? is anyone home?? where in the hell did she go?? "she's left a note! 'adios, sixty below!!!!'"

| LOL! This is cute. I really liked it. I have missed reading your work. Glad to be back. I have missed you and Karen. I have to agree with Ed. You better leave somewhere before it gets that low. |

Karla, you may want to move farther south before it happens.
If it hits 60 below, you better burn that note for fuel cause your car ain't gonna start, the buses probably won't be running, and you sure can't walk anywhere in that temperature! |
